Bigg Boss 20 Episode 47 Written Update (22 October): Aasif, Yung and Uditi Win the Recorder Rounds; Crack in Qazi and Mahhi's Friendship

The fight from yesterday did not die down; it walked straight into today's episode. Qazi and Scout were at each other again, the captaincy race lost six names in three rounds, and by night, Qazi was hurt by the one person he treats as family in the house — Mahhi Vij. Full story below, in simple words.

Quick facts first

The fight that started it all

The episode opened with yesterday's task fight. Yung asked Scout who was holding whose leg in the task. Scout said Qazi is acting like a big supporter of women, just for show. Qazi hit back: you dragged a girl by her leg, that is the real point. Words flew between Qazi, Scout and Yung, and the house split into camps again.

Later, Manish spoke to Qazi alone. He said Arishfa herself did not react the first time, so why did you take such a big stand for her? Gullu also said Arishfa was not complaining. Qazi said he did not know the full thing at that time. It was a fair question, and for once Qazi had no strong answer.

Round 1: Aasif beats Qazi, and removes Qazi and Gullu

For the captaincy task, two players at a time sit on a big recorder, and the person running the round picks the speed for each side. In round one, Qazi faced Aasif. Mary set the speeds — slow for Aasif, medium for Qazi. Aasif won the round. As the winner, he removed two names from the captaincy race: Qazi and Gullu. Scout, of course, had a comment ready on Qazi's loss.

Round 2: Yung beats Scout, and removes Uditi and Arishfa

Round two was Yung vs Scout. This time Qazi ran the speeds — fast for Scout, medium for Yung. Yung won. Scout felt dizzy after the round, and Aasif looked after him. Yung then removed Uditi and Arishfa from the race.

Round 3: Uditi beats Arishfa, and removes Yung and Scout

In the last round, Uditi faced Arishfa, with Yung running the speeds — fast for Uditi, medium for Arishfa. Uditi still won the round. And she used her win well: she removed Yung and Scout, the two men who had been running the game all day, from the captaincy race.

So after three rounds, the race is down to seven names: Kanika Mann, Mahhi Vij, Love Gill, Amrapali Dubey, Mary, Aasif Khan and Manish. The final captain will come from this list.

The sad parts of the day

Uditi missed her pet Laila a lot today and broke down. Scout was seen missing Kaashvi. Away from the task, the house had some soft moments about family and loved ones outside — the kind of talks that remind you these people have been locked inside for over six weeks now.

Qazi and Mahhi: a crack in the friendship

The promo had already shown it, and the episode kept the thread alive: Mahhi is not happy with the stand Qazi took for Arishfa. She also passed a remark that Qazi talking to Uditi and Arishfa is like doing their PR. Qazi, on his side, was seen telling Uditi and Arishfa that Mahhi's way of behaving with him has hurt him. This pair has been close from the start, so if this crack grows, it will change the game for both of them.

Good to know for Indian viewers

Nobody was removed from the house in this episode — these were only removals from the captaincy race, not from the show. The captaincy result and the weekend eviction story will come in the next episodes. Our written update goes up on BollyShowbiz after every telecast.

My take

Uditi played the smartest game today — quiet in the fight, strong in the task, and she cut the two loudest players out of the race in one move. Qazi lost twice: once in the task, where Aasif beat him fair, and once in friendship, where Mahhi's words clearly hurt. How he answers that tomorrow will tell us a lot about his game.
