Bigg Boss 20: Uditi Singh Survives the Weekend Twist as Mary Kom Exits — Karan Wahi Breaks Silence on Cricketer Rumours

By BollyShowbiz Desk • October 25, 2026 • Bigg Boss 20, Weekend Ka Vaar (October 24, 2026) and Karan Wahi interview

If you only read the promos and the fan pages this weekend, you would think Uditi Singh just walked out of Bigg Boss 20. She did not. The contestant who actually left on Saturday’s Weekend Ka Vaar was Mary Kom, after guest host Rohit Shetty played out a twist that took two lifelines in a single day. Uditi was nominated and in danger, but she survived — and while she stays in the game, the conversation outside the house has moved to her love life, with ex-boyfriend Karan Wahi breaking his silence about their breakup and the cricketer rumours swirling around her.

What the promos promised — and what actually happened

The promos set up a tense weekend. The second promo revealed the nominated list for the week: Gullu, Mary, Uditi, Arishfa, Manish, Amrapali and Love Gill, with Rohit Shetty announcing that the house would not wait until the next day — two lifelines would be forfeited that very day. Anyone holding two lifelines would lose one; anyone down to their last lifeline would be eliminated on the spot.

That maths decided the night. Mary Kom was evicted after running out of both lifelines, ending a seven-week stay in which her kitchen moments, workout sessions and light-hearted chats had made her one of the season’s most popular faces. Television actor Manish Goel, who entered as a wildcard, lost a lifeline in the same round. Amrapali Dubey broke down in tears as Mary left, and the housemates came together to sing “You are a champion” as a farewell. We covered Mary’s exit in detail here: Mary Kom Evicted From Bigg Boss 20: Rohit Shetty Announces Her Exit on Weekend Ka Vaar.

So where does that leave Uditi? On the nominated list and in the danger zone — but still in the house. Some fan-run voting pages listed her as evicted, but the episode does not back that up: the elimination on Saturday was Mary’s, not hers. Uditi stays in the game, and the house now resets around a smaller group heading into the next nominations.

What about Qazi — and the “heartbreak” talk?

Social buzz paired Uditi’s rumoured exit with Qazi Touqeer’s heartbreak. The episode does not show that moment, because the exit did not happen. What Qazi’s weekend actually held was a confrontation of his own: Rohit pulled up Aasif Khan over his run-ins with Qazi, saying Aasif nearly struck Qazi on the head, seemed to be provoking him in the hope he would lash out physically and get eliminated, and applied a double standard on abusive language — fine when others did it, a scandal when Qazi did.

Qazi and Uditi are friends in the house. He has tried to patch things up between Uditi and Mahhi Vij, and Mahhi has teased him for doing Uditi and Arishfa’s “PR”, a dig Uditi’s team later answered back on social media, as TellyChakkar reported. But the tearful farewell on Saturday belonged to Amrapali saying goodbye to Mary, not to Qazi losing Uditi. If Uditi’s game ends in a later week, that friendship will matter; this weekend, it was not the story.

The cricketer rumours: what is actually confirmed

Inside the house, Uditi has hinted that she is dating a popular athlete, without naming him, as Times Now reported. She did not name him, so fans filled the gap themselves. After she mentioned a “sportsperson”, cricketer Abhishek Sharma’s name started circulating, helped along by claims that he had liked her Instagram posts and an October 23 post claiming the two are dating.

Here is the part that matters: neither Uditi nor Abhishek Sharma has confirmed anything, and an Instagram like — even if genuine — does not prove a relationship. IndiaTimes’ fact-check is blunt about it: the claims should be treated as rumours rather than facts, and until one of them addresses the speculation directly, the identity of Uditi’s rumoured boyfriend stays unconfirmed. The name doing the rounds is fan speculation, not a fact, and this article treats it that way.

Karan, asked about the athlete talk, answered with a line that gave the rumour mill its second wind: he wished she would take the athlete’s name instead of his. In his words, why keep bringing up his name when she could name the person she is actually with?

Karan Wahi breaks his silence

Karan’s full response came in a conversation with Siddharth Kannan, his first detailed answer to everything Uditi has said about him inside the house. The two dated for three years, and the relationship ended in 2022. They met after Uditi sent him an Instagram message about a restaurant in London, and spent a long stretch of the Covid pandemic together, even living together during that period.

On the question everyone kept asking — were they about to get married? — Karan’s answer was clear. He was 33–34 when the relationship began, at a stage where he wanted a relationship to lead to marriage rather than stay uncertain. But intention was all it was. “There was nothing called as that we were about to get married or we’ve plans of getting married,” he said, adding that the intention to move towards marriage had been misunderstood as a wedding being on the cards. The Times of India, India TV, NDTV Profit and ABP Live all carried the same clarification.

On why it ended, Karan offered his own version in one line: “I think we were not compatible enough. At least, that’s my truth.” He dismissed the idea that parental interference or family objections broke them up. The age gap between them — close to 10 years, widely talked about since the relationship became public — was also not named by him as the reason. Uditi, for her part, has said in the house that her family disapproved because Karan is an actor, and had reservations about the age gap too.

Uditi’s house remarks went further. She called the breakup a “blessing in disguise”, said Karan often discouraged her and undermined her confidence, and said both her career and her life changed completely after the split. Karan’s reply was measured: viewers may not have seen everything she said, because parts of her conversations were edited out of the aired episodes — including positive things she said in live sessions, like how he helped her when she moved to Mumbai and supported her career.

He also put the timeline in perspective. The relationship ended five years ago, he said, and it was not even his last relationship — nor, he added, was he her last boyfriend, since she has had relationships after him. The two had not spoken or even bumped into each other since the breakup — until, he revealed, he later ran into Uditi and her new boyfriend. Asked about the past, he said she has every right to tell her truth, and that for his own peace of mind and out of respect for her, he would rather not drag up things that no longer matter to him. He holds no bitterness, he said, and is happy for her. Uditi herself has said the same thing from inside the house: asked about Karan’s possible wildcard entry, she said it has been so long that she has moved on, as WIO reported.

Put together, Karan’s version is calmer than the house narrative: two people who wanted different things, a relationship that ran its course five years ago, and an ex who says he has moved on — while confirming, almost in passing, that Uditi has moved on too.

What happens next

Uditi stays, the house is one smaller after Mary’s exit, and the next nominations will show whether a close call changes Uditi’s game. Outside, the cricketer question stays open until Uditi or the cricketer addresses it directly. Tonight’s Sunday Weekend Ka Vaar continues the weekend — including the Kaashvi-Scout confrontation we covered here — at 9 pm on JioHotstar and 10:30 pm on Colors TV.

The verdict

The weekend’s real story is not the exit social media announced. Uditi survived a twist designed to take two lifelines in a day, Mary Kom went home, and the loudest new development is not inside the house at all — it is Karan Wahi finally telling his side, five years after the relationship ended, and confirming that the woman at the centre of the cricketer rumours has long since moved on. Whether the rumours name the right man is still unproven. That part, for now, stays a rumour.
