Roadies Rebirth Episode 4 Written Update: Mentalist Twist, Basketball Challenge, and What Is Confirmed So Far

By BollyShowbiz Desk • October 25, 2026 • Roadies Rebirth, Episode 4, MTV, JioHotstar

Episode 4 of Roadies Rebirth, titled "Sansani Khez", aired on Saturday, October 24, and it did not play like a normal audition night. The episode's signature moment was a mentalist who walked in claiming powers of the mind, did a trick with colours on t-shirts and socks, and then faced the gang leaders' questions about whether his story added up. Around that came a basketball challenge from the episode's promo trail, a loud-voiced audition from Haryana, and a tense confrontation in the audition room. What this article will not do is invent the rest. No written update we could find yet confirms who got picked, for how many roadiums, or whether anyone was snatched in Episode 4 — so here is what is actually on record, and what is still only talk.

The mentalist owned the night — then came the questions

The episode guide for "Sansani Khez" describes the segment plainly: a contestant claiming to be a mentalist performs an intricate trick using colours on t-shirts and socks. Things then take a sharp turn when the gang leaders start questioning the authenticity and backstory of the participant. That is the spine of Episode 4, and it is a very Roadies kind of test — a big claim, a live trick, and then six leaders who do not take the claim at face value.

Clips from the episode fill in the picture a little more. One clip shows a 25-year-old mentalist and magician from Chandigarh, who says he is also a national-level athlete. He greets the room with "Sat Sri Akal" and performs in a black outfit. Another clip from the same audition group shows a young man in a cream corduroy shirt, holding markers, introducing himself as a magician and mentalist. We are describing what the clips show, not merging the two into one person — the clips show a group audition built around mentalism, and the leaders' scepticism is the part the episode guide confirms.

Why does this segment matter more than a normal audition? Because Roadies auditions are usually about strength, stamina or a backstory. A mentalist asks the leaders to believe something they cannot see, and this season's leaders have already shown they do not hand out trust easily — just ask Gang NewG after Episode 3. The moment the leaders started pulling at the mentalist's backstory, the audition stopped being a trick and became a test of character. Whether he passed it is the part no written update has settled yet, and we are not going to guess.

The other audition in the group: Shanu Rao from Haryana

The same audition group brought a very different kind of contestant. Shanu Rao from Haryana introduces herself in the episode clips wearing a purple sports bra and a green hoodie, and tells the leaders straight up that people get scared when she talks because her voice is very loud. The judges are shown listening with smiles, and the interaction stays energetic and conversational. It is a small moment, but it shows what Episode 4's auditions were doing: putting loud, unusual personalities in front of leaders who had to decide fast whether the personality was a strength or a distraction.

The basketball challenge in the episode's promo

The promo trail for the October 24 episode features a basketball challenge involving Baseer Ali, Bani J and Neha Dhupia. The promo frame shows Baseer holding a basketball overhead, with Neha and Bani watching from the side. A promo is a teaser, not a result — it tells us the challenge was part of the episode's build-up, not who won it or what it changed. But it does tell us something about the episode's shape: Episode 4 was not only sit-down auditions. The leaders were out of their chairs and into a physical contest, with an OG and two NewG leaders in the same frame.

The confrontation fans clipped from the episode

One more moment from Episode 4 is doing the rounds in fan clips. A reel recorded off the episode shows a woman with long curly hair confronting a young man in a white shirt, telling him to move backward and expressing disappointment in his performance as an entertainer, while he stands with his head down. The clip is tense, and it is the kind of audition-room dressing-down Roadies fans recognise instantly. We are reporting it as a fan-clipped moment, not as a confirmed storyline, because no written update has described this exchange in full yet.

Did the NewG rift from Episode 3 grow in Episode 4?

This is the question every Roadies fan carried into Episode 4, and it is the one we have to leave open. Episode 3 ended with a visible crack inside Gang NewG, after Abhishek Malhan clashed with Bani J and Baseer Ali over the snatch button, with Bani saying her trust was broken and Baseer calling him a liar. That rift is on record. Whether it grew, healed, or simply sat there through Episode 4 is not something any written update has confirmed yet. The episode's promo put Bani and Baseer on the same basketball challenge frame as Neha, but a shared challenge frame is not evidence of a healed camp or a deeper split. Until a full recap lands, the honest answer is: the rift went into Episode 4 unresolved, and Episode 4's coverage so far does not say what came out of it.

What is NOT confirmed yet — and one claim to treat as talk

Let us be straight about the gap, because it is the most important part of this update. As of this writing, no written update from KhabriBhai, KhabriChachi or any other recap source has published Episode 4's picks, bids, snatches or eliminations. KhabriBhai's site still lists its Episode 3 update as its latest Roadies recap. That is unusual — Episode 3's recap landed the next morning — but it is where things stand, and we would rather say so than fill the gap with guesses.

One fan clip's on-screen text claims that "in today's episode there are no rodies", meaning nobody was picked in Episode 4. That is a fan's caption on a screen-recorded clip, not a recap and not a confirmation. It is possible the episode ended without selections, and it is equally possible the picks simply have not been written up yet. Treat the claim as talk until a written update or an official clip confirms the scoreboard. If you see a post tonight listing Episode 4 picks with roadium amounts, ask where it came from before believing it.

Where to watch in India

Roadies Rebirth airs on MTV India at 7 PM IST, with new episodes on Friday and Saturday evenings, and streams on JioHotstar. Episode 5 is next on Friday, October 30, per the season schedule. If you missed Episode 4, the full episode on JioHotstar is the place to check it — not a clipped promo or a fan post — because only the full episode will show how far the mentalist's grilling actually went and whether anyone walked out with a stamp.

Our verdict

Confirmed: Episode 4, "Sansani Khez", aired October 24 with a mentalist segment that turned into a grilling, a basketball challenge in its promo trail, a loud-voiced audition from Shanu Rao of Haryana, and a tense audition-room confrontation in fan clips. Not confirmed: any picks, bids, snatches or eliminations from the episode, and what happened to the NewG rift after Episode 3. Right now Episode 4 reads like a night of tests — of a mentalist's claim, of leaders in a physical challenge, and of a camp that walked in divided. The scoreboard will have to wait for a real recap, and we will update this page when one lands.
