Rohit Shetty Scolds Scout and Aasif on Bigg Boss 20 Weekend Ka Vaar: Aggression, the Task Pull and the Language Row

By BollyShowbiz Desk • October 25, 2026 • Bigg Boss 20, Rohit Shetty, ScoutOP, Aasif Khan

If you have seen the dramatic Hindi headlines doing the rounds — a mother insulted, a scuffle, "Panchayat ke damad ji" (the son-in-law from Panchayat) and an angry host giving someone a dressing-down — here is the version that actually checks out. On Weekend Ka Vaar Episode 49, on October 24, 2026, Rohit Shetty schooled ScoutOP and Aasif Khan, and the scolding covered three separate things: Aasif charging at Qazi Touqeer so aggressively that Rohit said he nearly headbutted him, Scout pulling Arishfa Khan by her legs during a task, and the abusive language flying around in the week's fights. Two mix-ups need clearing up first: the host that night was Rohit Shetty, not Salman Khan, and "Panchayat ke damad ji" is Aasif Khan, who played the beloved son-in-law character in Panchayat. This article sticks to what news reports confirm, and says plainly where the only source is fan discussion of the episode.

First, the host mix-up: it was Rohit, not Salman

Some of the headlines floating around this story mention Salman Khan in the same breath as this week's Weekend Ka Vaar, and that has caused confusion. The record is clear. Salman told viewers on air on October 18 that a prior commitment would keep him away the following weekend, and that he had asked Rohit Shetty to step in. Rohit, known for hosting Khatron Ke Khiladi, hosted the October 24 Weekend Ka Vaar. News reports put Salman's return at the weekend of October 31 and November 1. So when you read about the scolding in this article, the voice doing the scolding is Rohit's — direct, blunt, and, by his own telling on the episode, unfiltered. He even told the housemates he had watched the episodes himself and that the makers had not briefed him on what to say.

Aasif and the near-headbutt: charging at Qazi

The sharpest part of the night, as reported by TellyChakkar and the spoiler reports, was Rohit's confrontation with Aasif Khan over his aggressive behaviour towards Qazi Touqeer. In the promo and the episode discussion, Rohit questioned Aasif about repeatedly charging at Qazi during their arguments and warned him that he had come close to headbutting the singer. The point was not just about one argument — it was about the manner. Rohit said Aasif repeatedly charged towards Qazi and got uncomfortably close to him, creating a situation that could easily have turned into a physical altercation.

Aasif's defence, as reported, was that Qazi makes certain statements and later denies them or claims he did not mean them the way they were understood. Rohit did not accept that as an excuse for the aggression. He also called out the pattern around it: two or three men confronting Qazi together, which, in his words, looks wrong even when Qazi has apologised. Viewers discussing the episode afterwards noted the same detail — that Rohit told Aasif his wide-eyed charging looked as if he was coming to hit someone. That last point comes from fan discussion of the episode, not from a news report, but it matches the news account of what Rohit raised.

Scout and the task pull: Arishfa's legs

The second scolding was aimed at ScoutOP, and it was about a task, not about words. During a recent tunnel task, in which Qazi and Aasif had to stand on a disc and move through a tunnel while other housemates could help or block them, Scout pulled Arishfa Khan out by her legs. TellyChakkar's report of the Weekend Ka Vaar discussion says Rohit made it clear that pulling or dragging a female contestant in that manner was not appropriate, and told Arishfa to speak up for herself whenever something makes her uncomfortable.

Two housemates got credit from Rohit in that discussion. Uditi Singh, the report says, was the first contestant to take a stand when the incident happened. Qazi was then acknowledged for stepping forward to support Arishfa and question Scout's behaviour. Qazi had confronted Scout directly, asking how he could grab a girl's legs from below during a task — in his words, "Ladkiyon ke pair niche se nahi pakadte, tune haath kaise lagaya usko?" (meaning: "You don't grab girls' legs from below — how did you touch her?"). Scout's defence was that the contestants were joking during the task and that it should not be read differently. Arishfa herself said she felt uncomfortable when Scout touched her leg and tried to drag her. Her side of it matters here: as our earlier Scout article noted, she said smiling does not mean she was comfortable, and her reaction should not be taken as permission. Rohit's message landed on the same side — if something feels wrong, say so on the spot.

The language row: what is confirmed, and what is only fan talk

Here is where this article has to be careful, because the Hindi headlines promise more than the news reports actually confirm. What is confirmed by the episode's news coverage is that abusive language was part of the week's fights and part of the Weekend Ka Vaar discussion — Scout, Aasif and Qazi were all grilled over the way they spoke to each other, and Qazi was told to be more serious in arguments, listen first and then reply, and cut down on abusive language. Fan discussion of the episode goes further: viewers say Rohit told Scout how much he had abused Qazi, including a mother-directed insult, and that Qazi was pulled up for abusing Aasif's mother and for a remark about a heart attack. Those specific claims appear in fan discussion threads, not in the news reports we checked, so we are reporting them as fan discussion, not as confirmed quotes — and we are not printing the abusive words themselves. If a news outlet confirms the exact exchange, that detail belongs in an update, not in a guess.

What is also worth noting: the same night had a lighter side for Qazi. Rohit praised his individual game and entertainment value, and told him his time had come — a moment covered in detail in our live Episode 49 article. The scolding and the praise sat side by side in the same episode, which is why the night felt so mixed for viewers.

What about the Scout-Love part?

Rohit also questioned ScoutOP and Love Gill about their closeness in the house — the blanket massages, the legs, hands and neck, and why it does not look right to viewers outside. That exchange is already covered in full in our live article on Episode 49, so we are not repeating it here. This article is about the other scoldings of the same night: the aggression, the task pull, and the language. If you want the full Scout-Love exchange, it is in the live Episode 49 piece linked in the sources below.

Where to watch Bigg Boss 20

Bigg Boss 20 streams on JioHotstar at 9 pm and airs on Colors TV at 10:30 pm, with Weekend Ka Vaar episodes on Saturday and Sunday. Rohit hosted the October 24 episode; Salman Khan is reported to return for the October 31–November 1 weekend. The next Weekend Ka Vaar will show whether Scout and Aasif change how they argue — and whether the language in the house actually cools down after a night like this one.

My take

Strip away the garbled headlines and this was actually one of the most useful Weekend Ka Vaar episodes of the season, because Rohit did not pick one side and stop there. He told Aasif his charging looked like it could turn physical, he told Scout that a task is no excuse for dragging a woman by her legs, and he told Qazi to clean up his own language too. That even-handedness is rare on this show, and it is why the episode is still being talked about a day later. The one thing to watch now is simple: do the housemates actually change, or does the next fight start exactly where this one ended?
